Susan Barnes
Team MyTDog - Des Moines, IASue owns and operates MYTDOG training in Des Moines, IA. A Certified E-Collar Specialist, Sue has been training dogs professionally for 15 years specializing in remote collar training for both performance and companion animals. She competed in Field Trials for years but is now best known for her tremendous success in the DOCKDOGS circuit. She has a long list of DOCKDOGS accolades including Big Air world records, four national championships, various wins on nationally televised events and being named the Dockdogs Sports person of the year in 2008. Sue recently received national recognition, with dog Tanner, for his induction into the Dockdogs Hall of Fame.
Sue and Tanner were featured on the Animal Planet, Dogs 101 episode for the German Shorthair Pointers, where Tanner's DOCKDOGS successes were highlighted.
Sue continues to challenge herself with all breeds of dogs through training to become a MYTDOG.

Cindy Findley
Cindy is an accomplished amateur pointing dog trainer and handler. She has owned, trained, and hunted several different sporting breeds and enjoys the challenges and rewards of training her own dogs. She currently competes throughout the United States with Gordon and English Setters and is actively recruited as a judge. Included among over 100 placements that Cindy and her dogs have earned are: 2003 National Gordon Setter Association Shooting Dog Championship, 2005 Gordon Setter Club of America National Amateur Championship, and 2010 English Setter National Amateur Championship.
Findley’s training techniques are based in sound fundamentals, simplicity, and respect for the unique bond between sporting dogs and handlers.

Jason Givens
Lighthouse Kennels - Cambria, WIJason owns and operates Lighthouse Kennels in Cambria, WI. With over two dozen field championships to his credit, Jason has been working with Spaniel breeds and competing in field trials since the early 1990s. Since 2000 he has consistently made the Spaniel field trial top 10 handlers list and has judged numerous field trials in both the U.S. and Canada including the Cocker National Open Championship, the English Springer National Open Championship, and the Canadian National Championship. He has won the Springer National Open Championship as well as twice winning the Hogan Award for top Springer Field Trial Handler. He works with many amateur dog trainers and enjoys showing them his fun, upbeat training methods.
His first love, though, is hunting the woods of Wisconsin and the prairies of the Dakotas with his flushing dogs. In the fall you can find him and his dogs always walking toward the horizon to get one more flush.

Jim Keller
Wildwind Kennels - Knox, MEJim leads a team of qualified training staff that contributes to the business success at Wildwind Kennels. As an Orvis Endorsed Dog Trainer, Wildwind Kennels provides guiding services in Maine, working with some of the best sporting camps in the outdoors industry. Team Wildwind work with all breeds of upland dogs specializing in training dogs for the challenging task of grouse and woodcock hunting.
Jim has been competing field bred Springer and Cocker Spaniels for over 20 years. Team Wildwind has trained over 26 field champions (US Open/US Amateur/Canadian Open), 2006 US National Open English Springer Champion, 2009 US Open National Cocker Champion and the 2010 US National Amateur Champion. Jim has also trained spaniels that have numerous National placements and achieved National and Regional High Point awards.
Jim has written several articles for many national publications and has an active schedule putting on training seminars throughout the US. Jim has earn the recognition as a sought after judge of spaniel field trials throughout North America.

Nick Miller
Mil-Run Farm - Coldwater, MINick has 16 years experience in training bird dogs at his Mil-Run Farm facility. He enjoys competing in Cover Dog, U. S. Complete Shooting Dog, and National Shoot-to-Retrieve (NSTRA) competitive events. Nick is a past president of the Michigan Region and hosts dog trials and provides dog training, and boarding though his Mil-Run Farm Kennel Business. In May 2010, Nick earned runner-up in the Michigan NSTRA Regional Championship. The following month Nick went on to win the "2010 Owens' National Championship" in Waverly, Nebraska.
Nick believes that the best chance to get an excellent bird dog is to start with an outstanding pedigree. These beliefs have earned championship status for six of his dogs with NSTRA. Mil-Run Farms has earned national recognition for breeding, raising, training and selling quality English Setters, German Shorthair Pointers, and English Pointers.

Steve Ries
Top Gun Kennels - Alburnett, IAAfter 18 years of breeding, raising and training German Shorthaired Pointers at his Top Gun Kennels, Steve has set new goals of sharing his experiences with other breeders, trainers and kennel owners. Top Gun Kennel is now accountable for training and handling 64 dogs to their AKC Master titles including, at the time, the youngest recorded AKC Master Hunter. Steve has also earned national recognition in other Pointing Breed events including AKC Field Trials and Hunt Test, NSTRA and NAVHDA. Additional recognition came from recently receiving two “GSPCA Sire of the Year” honors from the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America.
Steve's recent focus has been teaching others to become successful in the breeding and training of pointing breeds. He also keeps busy serving as the National Field Representative for the Native performance dog food team.
